Ok, you’re definitely on our fitspiration board options, as do you stay in shape?

‘I get bored very easily, so I’m constantly move my exercise. I will try Boot Camp or boxing or something really, depending on where they are. If my friends are going for a spin class, I go with them, or if I’m in London, I do hot yoga, because it is often rainy. When I’m in my routine and the kids are back in school, I usually do Pilates twice a week, because it makes me feel stronger. My workout routine is generally cardio for 20 to 40 minutes, then I’ll take the kids to school and when I return, I will 30 minutes of core work. Finally, at 9:30, it’s time for breakfast! This routine really turns my metabolism. ‘

How do you keep motivated?

‘I grew up with all brothers and always felt like I had to keep up with them. My family is very sporty – my father was a baseball player and my mom started as a dancer, so the time the family was about bicycling, rollerblading, ice skating or skiing. We were out and active. Some days, it feels impossible to stay motivated, though. I try to remind myself that, if I’m feeling low, lethargic or stressed, you probably need to work out. I will make myself do something – if only for ten minutes. I try not to push myself too much, because that’s when I get discouraged. Anything is better than nothing. Even if you do a few squats in your back garden, at least we can say: “I did ten squats!”.

Thus secrets to suck it up and hit the treadmill?

‘Espresso is part of my secret get-fit! When I got to get in shape for a movie, I have to be dedicated. So, the first thing I do after waking up is to have a shot of espresso and a grapefruit juice -. It is a natural way to kick start your metabolism ‘

What about some motivational songs?

‘I like to work out to 90s hip-hop, is one with which I grew up, living in LA at the time. I Jay Z, Kanye West, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul also on my iPod, and I usually put on shuffle. ‘

You always look amazing, is that going to the gym like this?

‘I like to wear shorts or capri when working out, and I live in sports bras seamless from Fabletics, range activewear I co-founded. I have done Pilates before this interview and I’m wearing a hot pink halter one hour. I love the neon colors and prints of lava rose that we did too. What’s funny about our company is that we change things every month so as my workouts, do not get bored of my clothes. ‘
