… and we always want to copy Sofia Coppola…

Shoe obsessives rejoice as there is a new heel on the block and it has the seal of approval from the first lady of sass herself, Sofia Coppola. The shoe designer in question is Italian, Fabrizio Viti (stocked on

Having honed his craft as the leading shoe designer at Gucci and Prada, before moving to Louis Vuitton where he still retains the role as the House’s Shoe Style Director despite setting up his own brand in 2016. Fabrizio regularly returns to his obsession with fashion dolls and 1970’s shows when approaching each and every season. Making for an aesthetic that is quirky but totally wearable. Which is a real rarity, I am sure you will agree.

For cruise 2018 such an aesthetic world is evident across metallic multi strap sandals which are set to become THE best foot forward when it comes to sexy shoes. Away from the heels the designer has the quaint yet still quirky daisy emblazoned sandals that are the perfect fit for taking your look from the beach to the bar.

With the summer boot making a triumphant return Fabrizo has kicked his boots into shape with low block heel ankle boots and kitten heel boots with delicate bows on the toe.

The kitten heel is always the heel height many cobblers fail to master but Fabrizo manages what some find impossible. His dynamic steps to making the kitten heel relevant again revolves around sling back styles and bold buckles.

Naturally celebrity fans don’t come chicer than the film director, Sofia Coppola, who is always an arbiter of great taste. During couture fashion week in Paris this month Sofia accessorised her go to colour of black with a final flourish via Fabrizio Viti’s cut out caged suede heels, decorated with small bows. The look? The ultimate cocktail look for the kinda of girl who doesn’t want to go OTT on summer occasions.

BRB we are just doing a Sofia and slipping into our go-to summer shoe designer…
