Security advice for Glastonbury 2017:

The official advice from the organisers is to ‘pack light’. In light of recent tragic events in Manchester and London security checks will take much longer. A post on the Glastonbury site said: ‘As a general rule, we would ask you to only bring as much as you can carry yourself. It really will make things quicker.’

What to pack?

See our full – and extremely in-depth – Glastonbury festival packing list here, but it’s worth noting that it’s a glass-free festival so decant those drinks and leave the perfume bottles at home. And if you’re still looking for a killer outfit, you’ve got to check out our festival fashion 2017 edit.

Can you use a debit card?

In a word: yes. Over twenty of the main bars will accept cards and they’ll be ATMs dotted throughout the festival. That said, it’s still a good idea to take cash with you. We’re taking a minimum of £100.

Did you know Jeremy Corbyn will be appearing at Glastonbury?

After making huge gains, especially with the youth vote, in the 2017 General Election Corbyn will be speaking on the Pyramid Stage before Run The Jewels perform at 4.15pm on the Saturday – as well as speaking on the LeftField stage that day. Get there early for this one, Corbyn is the man of the hour.

And there’s going to be some secret sets, right?

Emily Eavis has confirmed they’ll be some secret performances this year, for a taste of just how good they can be check out the best ever Glastonbury secret sets of all time.
