Cassie Steer's packing essentials

“When it comes to clothes that are a luggage worst nightmare conductor (my ‘just in case’ elements may end up sending me seriously over the limit), but with beauty products I’ve got it down to a tee, “says Cassie. “Last year I went away (especially labor) and 28 times as well as seriously impacting my airline miles, it made me realize that packing your beauty products is to be strategic (and that does not just mean go for the ‘mini’ version). That’s what’s on my suitcase (and why) “:

Aveda Sun Care Protective Hair Veil 100ml, £ 21.50

The hair needs protection too – especially if you want to avoid burnt scalps and color changes dubious

Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo, £ 4 and Aussie Miracle Moist Conditoner 75ml, £ 2

I love this shampoo strengthening and ultra-nourishing balm (holidays are not so kind to our hair as they are for us). shampoos and conditioners are bulky (and heavy) so here’s where opt for mini versions

SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic 15ml, £ 70

It ‘s all very well slap on the sunscreen, but if you want to reduce the minimizing damage (and aging), be sure to pack an antioxidant serum with you – wear this under my sunscreen to protect against free radicals in more

Bioderma micellar water cleaner 100ml, £ 4.80

removes all traces of make-up soaked in sweat, sunscreen and general dirt without any irritation. This small bottle diddy worth packing only to coo over.

Radical Age-Defying Exfoliating Pads, £ 48

If you thought it could a vacation from your skin care regimen it is not as ! Exfoliation is the best way to get your skin glowing for all those selfies pleased. I prefer a pad to a chemical peel exfoliating manula -. It is less messy and gentle on the skin burnished by the sun

St Tropez Gradual Tan In-Shower Tanning Lotion (! Free with the August issue of Instyle)

Avoid surprising mate mates beach starting a gradual tan regime a day or two before your holiday. We may be biased, but this mini version of St Tropez in-shower gradual tan (only available with the August issue of Instyle) is the perfect size to tide you those ‘read documents seen-from-the-sun-2014’ arts .

La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50+ Comfort Cream
£ 15.50 50ml

beautify BUDDIES:

Rodial Lipstick in Daisy Just £ 25

A bright, ultra pigmented Lippie can look great with a tan but you do not have the space for a wardrobe lipstick go for a balm colored instead (much better for the beach). This makes it almost look like your lips are rosy natually while giving them a big old successful moisture.

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara Waterproof £ 19.50

There are some girls I know who are willing to give up completely mascara – even on beach. So make it waterproof and wipe any excess on a paper towel before applying to give subtle definition without making you look ‘Barbara Cartland-makes-Blackpool’.

SkinCeuticals Mineral Radiance UV Defense SPF50 – € 39

The packaging is where multi-tasker come into their own. I always find some bases’ heavy for travel / vacation so this is my all-time favorite commodity. Besides giving a pretty universal (that works for most skin-tones) glow (think Instagram filter), it offers a huge SPF50 to boot.

YSL Les Sahariennes No. 6 Sienne, £ 31

If you can bear to go without foundation do! So all you need for the evening is a touch of bronzer (YSL this is the perfect tone)

Garnier Micellar Extra Gentle Cleansing Wipes, £ 3.26

I personally would not recommend replacing a real its cleaning regime with wipes but are the ideal companion for holiday / travel

Portable Razor Gillette Venus Women Snap, £ 9.99

Let all we want to stay on vacation (even if we let things slide the other 350 days of the year) without fuzz. This mini razor trip is pure genius (and so cute!)

Where to Go Fresh Deodorant pomegranate 35 ml, 1.20 pounds

I always leave buying things like toothpaste and deodorant to the departure lounge as the selection of mini is much better

Models Own Nail Polish Remover 90ml, £ 4.99

If the nails are your thing you’re going to want to pack this. No need of a cotton swab, etc., just ‘dip, twist and go’!

Vichy Thermal Spa Water Spray 50 ml, 7.50 pounds

This is one for the hand luggage. Perfect for a quick update on board is also ammunition for anti-prickly heat when you land.
